Boken är skriven av den välrenommerade jiddischisten Kobi Weitzner och är vackert illustrerad av den svenska illustratören Linda Siewert. ??Weitzner föddes 1951 i Tel Aviv, men gjorde sig ett namn på jiddischscenen i Warszawa där han under många år var aktiv inom såväl teater som litteratur. "Der gliklekher mentsh" är hans första titel på Olniansky Tekst förlag.?
